We have been living and working here for 10 years and retired as B&B owners in October 2018.

To the rear of the house there is an attractive cobbled square with an area to set up patio table and chairs. This area is popular with the other residents of the street during the summer and is a very pleasant place to spend an evening. Patio furniture included .

The property comes fully furnished with electrical appliances (TV's, washing machine and kitchen equipment), beds, wardrobes, seating and dining furniture, so a prospective buyer could move in and be fully prepared to continue as a B&B or a family home.

The house has been fully restored since we purchased it in 2009. There are new electricity, gas and plumbing systems. The house has been fully double glazed with modern PVC three position windows. However we have tried to maintain the character of the house and have retained the attractive beamed ceilings throughout.

There is a garden at the front with large palm and a jasmine privet. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful and they have certainly enriched our Italian experience.

The house is situated in the charming village of Campolongo sul Brenta which is in the fabulous Val Brenta with direct access to the Ciclopist Valbrenta (Valbrenta Cycle path). 

For cyclists there is great access to scores of cycling routes, many of which have been used in the Giro d'Italia. There is also a series of great Granfondo rides held nearby throughout the Spring and Summer months.

Trekking and Nordik walking is very popular and there are a huge selection of marked walks nearby and also on nearby Monte Grappa. Water sports are well catered for with canoeing and rafting both taking place on the River Brenta. Open water swimming is also possible in the nearby Lake Corlo. Paragliding is popular in the area and we have good access to sites on Monte Grappa and the Altipiano Asiago.

The village of Campolongo sul Brenta has a small centre which has two bars, a chemist, a small general dealer, a bakery and a fabulous nearby Pizzaria/Restaurant. Campolongo is 7km from the main town of Bassano del Grappa which is a beautiful mediaeval walled town. There are many other places of interest nearby and Venice is only an hour by train from Bassano.
