Burriana has a glorious coastline, of 11kilometers and located just 1.5 kilometers from the center of town; a short 15 minute walk. There are 3 beaches, “El Arenal”, “Beach of the Malarrosa” and “Playa del Grau.” The beaches have a “Blue Flag”qualification with high standards and environmentally pro-active. The beaches have a reputation of having relatively quiet beaches, where you can kick back and relax. Burriana offers wonderful weather throughout the year. Even the winter months are mild.


The beaches offer many activities in which everyone can partake and enjoy. There is a sailing school, scuba diving and snorkeling lessons, wind surfing classes, horseback riding, hiking and walking trails and biking trails. The town Hall even has bicycles for tourists to use at “NO CHARGE.”

Carbona Tower-constructed in the 13th century

Tower of the Sea- constructed in 1547. It was a watchtower.

The Bacilica – Church of the Savior. The church was commissioned by King James I in 1233 to celebrate the conquest of Valencia and many other historical churches.

Burriana Bell Tower-originally erected in 1363 as a fortified tower. It was destroyed  on July 5ht 1938 during the Spanish Civil War. It was reconstructed in 1942.
