Farm with 3 Houses in Tarragona Spain
Farm with 3 Houses in L'Aldea Tarragona Spain
Manna House farm covers an area of 30,000 square metres and has around 300 olive trees and 130 almond trees. The olives produce very high quality extra virgin olive oil which is currently exported to UK and to Finland. The almonds are sold to our co-operative and to our guests. There are 3 houses on the farm, 2 of which are used for holiday rental and the other for owner’s accommodation. The owner’s house has a flat roof terrace of 100 sqm and has fabulous views across the Delta area, and the property benefits from a Tourism Licence.
Each house has its own terrace for outdoor living and there is a BBQ attached to each property. The climate is very agreeable in this area and it is possible to enjoy outdoor living through most of the year.
The houses are as follows:
House 1, the owners house, has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has central heating plus a log burner in the lounge. House 2, a holiday cottage, has 1 bedroom on a mezzanine floor and a log burner for heating during the cooler months. House 3 has 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and underfloor heating for the cooler winter months enabling a year-round rental income. House 3 is used for yoga, painting and cookery holidays throughout the year due to the size of the dining/rest area.
There is a swimming pool which is solely for our tourists and owners use. The land is flat and has spectacular views across the Ebro Delta (a major rice growing area and wetland wildlife habitat) to the Mediterranean Sea, and behind the property are views up to the mountains, The property also comes fully furnished.
The property is totally self-sufficient with its own solar power system and water borehole and this provides for all these needs. Each house has its own septic tank and we are not connected to any mains services and this drastically reduces the running costs of the property. The only commodities we buy are bottled gas, which is very cheap here in Spain, petrol for the battery charger generator (in case of several prolonged cloudy days) and diesel for the water pump generator.
The property is on the edge of the largest of the 9 Natural Parks in Catalunya which was given a UNESCO Biosphere Award last year. It is a major habitat of a huge number of different bird species and there is an annual birding festival in September here.
The farm comes complete with all equipment and machinery to work the land and harvest both almond and olive crops. The farm benefits from an EU subsidy which will be transferred to the new owners and there is also a (currently) Land Rover - Spanish registered and LHD - plus a 750kg rated trailer to go with it, included in the asking price.

In this effervescent port city, Roman history collides with beaches, nightlife and a food scene that perfumes the air with freshly grilled seafood. The biggest lure is the wealth of ruins in Spain’s second most important Roman site, including mosaic-packed museums and a seaside amphitheatre.
A roll-call of excellent places to eat gives you good reason to linger in the knot of lanes in the medieval centre, flanked by a broad cathedral with Gothic flourishes. Tarragona is also a gateway to the Costa Daurada’s sparkling beaches and the feast of Modernisme architecture in nearby Reus.
