The hamlet is a 300 year old commune of 3 fully renovated individual large detached stone cottages and one new build cottage (2001) in approximately 3 acres of rural tranquillity nestling at the end of a ½ km private drive with panoramic views over the adjoining lake, picturesque Lac du Dordu. The cottages have been lovingly renovated and retain many of their original features.


Each holiday cottage has it own private garden. All have been freshly decorated and are in excellent condition with clean furnishings and white goods. With electric heating or the farm house with oil central heating, allowing them to be let all year round, each cottage has parking facility. The cottages are provided with cooker/oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, coffee-maker, iron, plus full furnishings.


The cottages share a heated swimming pool built with sun trap patio and grassed area The gardens surrounding the properties are well stocked, and afford the opportunity for quiet relaxation and contemplation Guests can enjoy a quiet game of boules in our boules court near the cottages or ball games in the bottom field. There is the added interest of an original working Breton bread oven and a well for watering. The grounds consists of a bowls court, a large hanger, 2 sheds with covered area for parking the ride on lawn mower, a caravan standing with amenities.


A path leading to our field (approx ½ area) that could have great pretension to expand the business, the field has direct access to the adjoining lake. The lake has common carp, Pike, tench perch and even some wild trout, ideal for the keen fishermen or just to enjoy the flora and fauna and the variety of bird life makes an idyllic retreat treat. Canoeing, rowing boats can be used on the lake but no motorized vessels are allowed.

The land has two further ruins that can be renovated as cottages/gites.

Locally there is Horse riding that is less than 10 min's away and a superb 9 hole golf course about 25 min's away, Quad Biking and the famous Lac de Guerledan with all manner of water sports and boat trips is 20 minutes away. Fishing is abundant in Brittany, the Clearwater Lakes is only about 15 min away and the Nantes Brest canal is 15 minutes’ drive. The picturesque Guld de Morbihan is less than an hour away, as are the historic towns of Anray, Vannes, Quimper and Josselin.


We are centrally located about 40 min's to the west and north coasts, there are unspoilt sandy beaches, and various attractions. Choices of beautiful south coast beaches: Lorient, Quimper, Concarneau and many more.


The atmospheric forest of Heulgoat (part of the Arthurian legend) the medieval forest of Merlin the Magician, where the Knights of the Round Table searched for the Holy Grail can be found 45 min's to the north.


Just 15 minutes away is the Lac de Guerledan, which has leisure activities for every member of the family. Its rustic landscape and forest is a haven for walkers, ramblers, mountain bikers and horse riders. Whilst it’s all year round water sports centre includes dinghies, rowing-boats, pedaloes and water-skiing boat cruises and good restaurants and is well worth the visit. Sandy beaches ideal for children with safe swimming and out-door cafes enable the less active to enjoy the view without expending too much energy.
